Another month, another part of Europe for #tourdeeuropecc hosted by @booklose_ela@sanda_reads and me. And this time we are going east to the warm Mediterranean climate of Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Israel. The goal is to read one or more books set in given locations or written by author from these countries. ⠀

So, with that in mind, for this challenge for April my plan is to read:⠀
▪︎ One August Night – Victoria Hislop (Greece)⠀
▪︎ The Architect’s Apprentice – Elif Shafak (Turkey)⠀
▪︎ The Book of Longings – Sue Monk Kidd (Israel)⠀

I hope you will join us because there are so many great books settled in this area. My honest recommendations go to:⠀
▪︎ The Island by V.Hislop for Greece and ⠀
▪︎ The Red Tent by Anita Diamant for Israel⠀

Both of these are amazing books with historical background I am sure everybody would love. ⠀

And these are the books my girls recommend. And believe me, you want to trust their choices. ⠀

@booklose_ela recommends:⠀
▪︎ Birds Without Wings – Louis de Bernières (Turkey)⠀
▪︎ The Magus – John Fowles (Greece)⠀
▪︎ Land of the Golden Apple – Eve Makis (Cyprus)⠀

@sanda _reads recommends:⠀
▪︎ 10 Minutes 38 Seconds in This Strange World – Elif Shafak (Turkey)⠀
▪︎ Three Daughters of Eve – Elif Shafak (Turkey)⠀
▪︎ Mythos – Stephen Fry (Greece)⠀

So hop on board with us and let us discover something new together. There are many amazing stories and great authors all over the world and it is a pleasure getting to know them.⠀
