“The thing that looks the most ordinary might end up being the thing that leads you to victory.”

Maybe I’m one of the weird ones. Maybe it’s again the case where I expected more from it. But from a Goodreads winner of the best book of 2020, I just cannot not expect a lot. I mean, if Valentine, which is beyond amazing, didnt even get to the top few, my honest presumption was that this one would blow my mind.⠀

But in the end it was just a mediocre and predictive what if story with bits of science and philosophy to sound smarter. It had some sweet moments and some good points and overall is a positively oriented book. But I kinda knew where it was going about half way in and that bothered me. ⠀

On the bright side….I really love the message the book sends, esp to the young people of today. I also personally believe that we all have some kind of an impact on other people’s lives. Human interaction is a base of life and it often leads us in unusual directions. And it all matters. Our lives matter. You matter. And we are all worthy. Dont ever let anyone makes you think otherwise.
